3. Quotations
3.1 Free Survey & Quote
Our quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation following a home survey by one of our representatives. No charge is made for the survey visit.
3.2 Validity of Quotes
All written quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. After this period, prices may be subject to change due to material costs or other factors.
3.3 Accuracy
Quotations are based on measurements taken during the survey visit. The quoted price is fixed and includes supply, delivery and installation of the specified products, removal and disposal of existing frames (where applicable), and making good the surrounding area.
3.4 What's Included
Unless otherwise stated in writing, our quotations include:
- All products as specified in the quote document
- Delivery to your property
- Full installation by our employed team
- Removal and disposal of your old frames and glazing
- Making good of any minor plasterwork or decorating disturbed during installation
- FENSA registration and certification
3.5 Exclusions
Unless specifically included in the quotation, the following are excluded: structural alterations to openings, damp proof course works, electrical work, scaffolding, specialist access equipment and any works beyond the immediate installation area.
4. Placing an Order
A binding contract is formed when you sign and return our written quotation (or confirm acceptance in writing by email) and we confirm acceptance of your order. Verbal acceptance alone does not constitute a binding contract.
We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion before a contract is formed. In the event we decline, any deposit paid will be returned in full.
Once a contract is formed, we will contact you within 3 working days to confirm your installation date. Lead times are typically 3–5 weeks from order, subject to product availability.
5. Prices & Payment
5.1 Pricing
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT at the current UK rate unless stated otherwise. The price on your written quotation is the price you pay — we do not add charges on the day of installation.
5.2 Deposit
We require a deposit of 25% of the total contract value upon acceptance of the quotation. This deposit secures your installation slot and initiates the order of your products.
5.3 Final Payment
The remaining balance is due on the day of installation, upon satisfactory completion of the work. Payment may be made by bank transfer, debit card, credit card or cheque. We do not accept cash payments over £500.
5.4 Late Payment
If payment is not received within 14 days of the installation date, we reserve the right to charge interest at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5.5 Finance
Where we offer finance options, these are provided by third-party lenders. Full details will be provided separately. Finance agreements are subject to status and the lender's terms and conditions.
No hidden costs: The price on your quotation is final. We will only charge more than the quoted price if you request additional work not included in the original quotation, and only after providing a revised written quote and obtaining your agreement.
6. Survey & Measurements
Our surveyor will take precise measurements at your property prior to manufacture of your products. It is your responsibility to ensure that access is available for the survey appointment.
If you are a tenant, it is your responsibility to obtain written permission from your landlord before placing an order. We accept no liability for any dispute between you and your landlord arising from any installation we carry out.
If site conditions differ materially from those observed at survey (for example, structural issues are discovered during installation), we will notify you immediately and may need to revise the scope or cost of work. We will obtain your agreement before proceeding with any additional work.
7. Installation
7.1 Our Team
All installations are carried out by our own employed fitters. We do not use subcontractors. Our team will carry identification and you are entitled to request to see this before allowing them access to your property.
7.2 Installation Day
We will provide you with a confirmed installation date. We will endeavour to arrive at the agreed time. On rare occasions, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control — we will notify you as early as possible in such cases.
7.3 Access
You must ensure that reasonable access is available to the installation area. This includes clearing furniture and personal belongings away from the windows or doors being replaced. We are not responsible for any damage caused by items left in the immediate work area.
7.4 Completion
On completion, our fitter will walk through the installation with you, explain the operation of your new products, and ask you to sign a satisfaction form. Any snagging items noted at this point will be rectified free of charge within 14 days.
7.5 FENSA Certification
All window and door replacements are registered with FENSA. Your FENSA certificate will be issued within 30 days of installation and is required if you sell your property.
7.6 Building Regulations
All our installations comply with current UK Building Regulations. FENSA registration confirms compliance and self-certifies the work on your behalf with your local authority.
8. Your Obligations
To enable us to carry out the installation effectively, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your property during the survey
- Ensure access to your property on the agreed installation date
- Ensure the installation area is clear of furniture and personal belongings
- Notify us promptly of any issues or defects discovered after installation
- Make payment in accordance with the agreed terms
- Obtain any necessary consents (e.g. landlord permission, listed building consent) before placing your order

If you cancel within the 14-day period, we will refund any deposit paid in full within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.
9.4 Cancellation After the Cooling-Off Period
If you cancel after the 14-day cooling-off period but before installation, we reserve the right to retain your deposit to cover costs already incurred (including survey, design and any products already ordered or manufactured specifically for your installation). We will provide a written breakdown of costs retained.
9.5 Our Right to Cancel
We reserve the right to cancel a contract if unforeseen circumstances make it impossible to complete the installation as specified. In this event, we will provide a full refund of any monies paid.
